2. A Powerful Beauty Routine

Much like with everything else in Japanese culture, when it comes to routines, Japanese people are very well disciplined to maintain routines for a long time – without fail. This is also true for the complex beauty routine that Japanese women do on a daily basis.
Depending on the age of the woman and which products she can afford, a daily beauty ritual can consist of 7 steps up to 14 different steps in the beauty process – and this doesn’t even include makeup!
Japanese women employ a combination of cleansing techniques, massages, moisturizers, face masks, and makeup removal methods on a daily basis, which ensures that their skin looks flawless!
You may think that these are too many steps to take for a beauty routine, however, you need to keep in mind that Japanese women use much gentler products than women in the West do, and they also use a very gentle touch when it comes to anything that has to do with their skin. As a result, their beauty ritual (for the entire body) is more of a stimulating massage which promotes blood circulation and hormonal flow, than it is a full-on beauty routine.
