Wave-Gotik-Treffen is a “dark” music festival that takes place each year in Leipzig, Germany. It is not unusual for more than 150 bands to play each time the festival is held, and well…things can get pretty weird.
Some of the music that you might experience at Wave-Gotik-Treffen include industrial, death rock, gothic metal, dark wave, and punk.
In addition to the music, Wave-Gotik-Treffen includes fairs, markets, film viewings, and literature readings. If you decide to go, you also won’t want to miss the late night clubbing or the celebration of all things absinthe.
